Updated: Apr 14

Hello and welcome to my blog; I'm so excited to share a super fun card tutorial with you all today. Get ready to dive into the world of creating a unique and delightful Fun Fold Upright Z-fold Card, perfect for those special wedding occasions. And guess what? We're using the adorable Just Married Bundle from Pajama Crafter Stamps to make it extra special!

Creating A Fun Fold Upright Z-fold:

Getting Started:

Alright, let's kick things off by talking about what we need to get started. First up, gather your supplies – the Just Married Bundle (Stamps and coordinating Dies) from Pajama Crafter Stamps, along with your trusty Spectrum Noir TriBlend Brush Markers. Oh, and don't forget to grab some lovely patterned paper from the Here Comes Spring Paper Pad (from Carta Bella). Trust me, this combo is going to make your card pop!

Materials Needed:

Now, I know you're probably itching to get started, but let's make sure we have everything we need first. Here's the rundown:

Design Process:

Alrighty, time to dive into the fun part – creating our masterpiece! First, I like to lay out all my supplies and take a moment to envision the final result. It's like setting the stage for a big performance!

Now, let me tell you a little story. Once upon a time, I was crafting away, and I accidentally smudged my ink right before finishing a card. Oh, the horror! But you know what? I turned that smudge into a cute little critter hiding in the corner. That's the beauty of crafting – turning mistakes into magic!

Tips and Tricks:

As we're crafting along, I want to share some of my top tips to help make your card-making journey smooth sailing:

  • When choosing colors for your TriBlend markers, try to pick shades that coordinate with your patterned paper. It'll tie everything together beautifully!

  • Precision is key when die-cutting your stamped images. Take your time and aim for clean edges – your card will thank you for it!

  • And don't be afraid to add a little extra flair with some embellishments. Whether it's sequins, gems, or a fancy ribbon, those little touches can take your card from "nice" to "wow" in no time!
