My card today features the Hats Off Stamp Set (from Pajama Crafter Stamps) for all the fun graduation celebration on this card. The Hats Off Stamp Set is the perfect graduation stamp set for all your graduation crafting needs. You can also get the Hats Off Dies to cut out the images or you can pick up the Hats Off Bundle and save 15% on your purchase.

For this card design you are going to need to do a little masking. So you are going to want a good quality masking paper, I used Altenew's Masking Paper for my masking on this card. I started this one layerish card by stamping the "congrats grad!" sentiment first in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. To cut out the sentiment I took a pencil and traced around the sentiment with just a slight border. Then I used my Cutter Bee Scissors and did a little fussy cutting to cut out the sentiment just inside the pencil outline.

I placed the mask over the sentiment and then took the large and small graduation hat as well as the star from the Hats Off Stamp Set. I started with the larger hat and went around the card front. I then filled in with the smaller hat and the star. Once I had al the images stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink around the card front. It was time to color.

Once the ink had dried remove the mask from the sentiment. I picked out three different shades of teal blue alcohol markers to color with. My teal color combo was; B110, B050, & B030 (Ohuhu Brush Markers). We are going to draw more attention to the hats by flipping the coloring. Instead of coloring the hats you are going to color around the hats, stars, and sentiment. Start with the darkest color and then softly blend out the line with the two lighter shades filling up the background.

After color background completely it's time to color up the stars and the GRAD! on the sentiment. For the grad I did an ombre of gold colors. The color combo for the grad was Y9, YR33, and Y3. I also used the YR33 and Y3 on the stars to keep the color pallet going.

Once all the coloring was complete it was time to attach the card front to the card base. I attached the card front to my A2 Top Folding Card base using Bearly Art Glue. Since it is the same size as the card front make sure that everything is lined up completely. You can do this easily by pinching the corners to line everything up.

To finish off the card add a few of the gold pearls from the Night Out Pearl Mix (from Pajama Crafter Stamps). Use your Pajama Crafter Wand to pick up and place the pearls into a tiny dot of Bearly Arts Glue.
