Hello and welcome to the blog; Happy Thursday! Today I'm sharing the card I made during last nights video release on my YouTube channel and I'm going to spill the tea on my number one most used way to pick a color pallet for your projects.
My card today feature the super cute Candy Hearts Stamp Set from House-Mouse Designs and Spellbinders. I colored Magpie, the conversation hearts, and the background with my Spectrum Noir Triblend Brush and Classique Markers. But I pulled all my colors for my card from the lovely plaid piece of pattern paper. The pattern paper came from the Lots of Love Paper Pad (from Doodlebug Designs). The 6 x 6 Lots of Love Paper Pad is currently sold out but they do have the 12 x 12 collection and you can always click the notify me button to be notified when it's back in stock. I pull my colors a lot from my pattern papers. I may not even use that paper on the card but I will use it for my color inspiration. This one little trick has served me well. The company's designers had already done all the hard work making sure the colors used are harmonious.
