Hello and welcome back to the blog; happy Friday! Today I am the guest artist up on the Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero Challenge. The December challenge theme is Shiny! I created a fun little see through card for this month's challenge.
For the focal image on my clear card I used the Coloring Layering Snowflakes Bundle (from Hero Arts). For the Clear Card base I used the Clear Card Bases and Envelopes from Hero Arts. This made creating the card super easy. For the background I used some Glitter Hero Paste through the Swirling Stars Stencil on a piece of Dove White Cardstock. For a little extra shine I added some of the Blue & Shimmer Tone on Tone Metallic Spary to the panel. Once the paste had dried I used my Sky Blues Core Ink Cubes to add all the colors to the stenciled background and to most of the snowflakes. For the middle snowflake I heat embossed it with Hero Arts' Silver Embossing Powder. To finish off my card I added a sentiment strip cut from some Arctic Cardstock and stamped the sentiment in the darkest blue ink from the Sky Blues Core Ink Cubes.
