Painting the Trees:
I know what you are thinking but Rick I cannot paint. Yes, you can! With the modern Christmas tree it's super easy. All you have to do is draw a triangle. You could even trace one onto your watercolor paper.
Once you have the trees lightly traced or drawn on to your watercolor paper it's just a matter of adding a little clean water to the watercolor paper and dropping in your watercolor paints.
The big trick here is letting each layer dry before adding more color over it. But you do want to let each layer you put down mix with the wet layers of the pigment you put down to get the different tons. And watch the amount of water you apply.
Once everything is complete its just a matter of letting your watercolor creation dry before you flick on some watered down white acrylic paint for snow. Then letting that dry before adding your die cut sentiments and embellishments.
See I told you it was super easy! I know you can do it. I hope that you give this a try! Besides remember it's handmade not hallmark. And it's just a piece of paper you can always turn it over and paint the other side or get a new sheet if you mess up.
