Crafting Process: Making a Splash with "Water Fun"

Let's jump right into the crafting adventure! Picture this: a sunny afternoon, the sound of laughter echoing across the yard, and three of the adorable House-Mouse characters splashing around in the water that's spraying out from the watering hose. That's the scene we're bringing to life with our card design.

  1. Stamping the Scene: First up, grab your Denim Blue Cardstock and the Water Fun Cling Stamp Set. I love how the vibrant blue backdrop sets the stage for our water playing friends to shine. As I inked up the stamps with Unicorn White Pigment Ink, memories of childhood summers flooded back – there's something magical about capturing those carefree moments on paper.

  2. Coloring the Magic: Now comes the fun part – coloring! I reached for my Prismacolor Colored Pencils, each stroke infusing life into the scene. As I blended hues of blue and green, I found myself transported to lazy afternoons spent in the yard running through spraying water, the sun warming my skin as I reveled in the joy of creating.

  3. Adding a Window to Wonder: Everlasting Circles Etched Dies to the rescue! With a quick pass through my die-cutting machine, I created a charming window on the card front, framing our summery scene. As I popped the circle back in place, I couldn't help but admire how it added a touch of whimsy to the design.

  4. Gilded Accents: To make our circle window pop, I reached for Antique Gold Pigment Ink. A delicate swipe along the outer edge of the die-cut circle brought a subtle shimmer to the card, elevating it from delightful to downright dazzling.
