Hello, crafty friends! Today, I'm thrilled to share a super easy and fun fall card that’s perfect for celebrating the cozy season of pumpkin spice and everything nice. Fall is such a wonderful time to bring warm colors and comforting themes into our card making, and this card does just that! Featuring the Pumpkin Spice Stamp Set and Pumpkin Spice Lawn Cuts from Lawn Fawn, along with the delightful Fall Fun 6 x 6 Pattern Paper Pad from Carta Bella, this project is all about embracing autumn in the most charming way.

Super Easy Fall Card:

Fall in Love with Pumpkin Spice: The Inspiration

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. There's something about the crisp air, the changing leaves, and of course, pumpkin spice lattes that just makes everything feel right. When I came across the Pumpkin Spice Stamp Set from Lawn Fawn last year, I knew I had to create a card that celebrated that cozy vibe. The set includes the cutest images of a pumpkin spice latte and shaker, which I thought would be perfect for a card that’s not only fun to make but also a joy to give.

This card was inspired by those first cool mornings of fall when you grab your favorite sweater and head out with a warm drink in hand. It's a little nod to all the things that make fall special, and I hope it inspires you to create something that captures the season for you, too.

Creating the Perfect Fall Card Base

For this card, I started with a piece of Fake Tan Cardstock from Lawn Fawn cut to 4 1/4" x 11". I scored and folded it in half to create a top-folding A2 card base. I love using this rich, warm color for fall-themed cards—it’s like the paper equivalent of a warm hug! On the inside of the card, I stamped the pumpkin spice latte and shaker images next to the "in my latte" sentiment using Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink. I find that adding a little something to the inside of the card always gives it a finished look, and it's a fun surprise for the recipient.

Here's a pro tip: When stamping with Distress Oxide Inks, I always reach for my MISTI tool. These inks are great, but they often need a couple of impressions to get that rich, deep color we all love. The MISTI ensures I get a perfect impression every time without worrying about misalignments.

Adding Some Patterned Flair

Now, let's talk about the card front—the part where the magic happens! I cut a piece of falling leaves patterned paper from the Fall Fun 6 x 6 Pattern Paper Pad to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhered it to the card base. I’m a sucker for patterned paper, and this pad from Carta Bella has some of the cutest fall patterns around. I chose the falling leaves print because it felt like a perfect match for the pumpkin spice theme.

Next, I wanted to add some dimension, so I cut a large banner from an orange plaid piece of pattern paper using some Banner Dies from my stash. I placed it right in the center of the card front to create a grounding point for the focal elements. For me, layering patterns is like building a cozy fall outfit—each layer adds texture and interest, making the final look more inviting.

Framing the Focal Point

One of my favorite techniques is to use frames to highlight key images, and this card was no exception. I used a piece of pumpkin pattern paper from the Fall Fun Pattern Paper Pad and die-cut a stitched square frame. Adding 1 mm Foam Tape to the back gave it a slight lift, creating a nice little nook for my stamped images to rest in. It’s these little details that really bring the card together and make it feel special.

When placing the frame on the card front, I made sure it was centered on the large banner to keep everything balanced. If you’re ever unsure about placement, just take a step back and squint—sounds silly, but it really helps you see if something is off-center!

Sentiment and Finishing Touches

For the sentiment, I used a die-cut stitched banner from my stash and stamped "you're the Pumpkin Spice" using Scorched Timber Distress Oxide Ink. I just love how this ink color complements the warm tones of the card without overpowering the focal images. I added the sentiment with 2 mm Foam Tape just below the frame for that extra bit of dimension.

Finally, it was time to add the stars of the show—the pumpkin spice latte and shaker images. I popped them up with a bit of 2 mm Foam Tape and placed them so they slightly overlapped the frame. I find that overlapping elements can really help tie everything together, making the design feel cohesive and dynamic.

To finish off the card, I added a few New Penny Rhinestones for a touch of sparkle. It’s like the cherry on top (or should I say the whipped cream on the latte?). These little embellishments add just the right amount of shine without stealing the spotlight from the main elements.

Ohuhu Markers Color Combos:

Here are a list of the markers that I used to color. I used the Ohuhu Oahu Markers to color my images today. I have also added the the Ohuhu Brush Markers color comparison in ()'s behind the color I used. Or as close of a comparison as I could find. Colors are listed from darkest to lightest.
