Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am sharing a super cute clean and simple card using the My Best Friend Stamp Set from Pajama Crafter Stamps. My card today features the super cute little yorkie from this stamp set. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens to color up this adorable little guy in a no line coloring style.
Thanks for Being my Best Friend Card:
My card today is a clean and simple one but I did do a little watercoloring to color up the cute little yorkie from the My Best Friend Stamp Set. Don't worry it's simple watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. To start off my card I stamped this cute little guy in Memento Toffee Crunch Ink so that I could get a no line coloring look without a lot of work. I stamped the image onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock that was cut down to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
To start the coloring process I first picked out a few different shades of brown from my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I then added my first application of color using my lightest brown shade in the shadow area on my image. Next I took a damp brush and pulled out the ink into the lighter area on the stamped image. Once I had this layer completed, I let the panel dry before moving on to my next darkest shade. Once it had dried completely I moved on to my next darkest shade and repeated the steps, by adding in color in the shadow areas where I wanted this one to be and pulled it out the same way. I repeated these steps switching between colors until I had the image completely colored.
Once the image was completely dried I placed the card front back into my MISTI and stamped my sentiment in Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink. This allowed for a nice crisp black sentiment onto my white card font. Once the sentiment was dry; I then attached the card front to a top folding A2 size card base.
To Finish off the card I added a few of the Night Out Pearls (from Pajama Crafter Stamps) in each of the three colors in the set. This was the perfect finishing touch to my clean and simple card featuring the My Best Friend Stamp Set. Just a reminder that you can get both the My Best Friend Stamp Set and the coordinating dies in the My Best Friend Bundle and save 15%.
