Hello crafty friends! Its Release Day two for the new Rabbit Hole Designs September Release! Today myself and a few other crafty friends will be highlighting a few of the new products from this release. Let's jump into the blog hop shall we.
Today I get to share with you one of the cards I created using the super cute and adorable Play, Learn, Grow Stamp Set from this release. There are three adorable owls ready to learn play and grow featured in the stamp set. They are so stinking cute it was hard to pick which one I wanted to feature today. But I finally decided on this little guy on the stack of books.
The fabulous line art created by Agota Pop for this super cute little stamp set was such a joy to color. It was so fun I had a hard time deciding on what to use to color him. So, I went with a few water based markers and added a little details with my colored pencils. There is a matching die set that coordinates with the stamped images but I didn't have it so I just fussy cut the stamped and colored image out and added it over a stamped image on the die cut circle. That way I didn't have to fussy cut around the little arm of the glasses.
For the background I used the Falling Leaves 6x6 Stencil (from last month's release) with just some tone on tone inking. Which looked great but I took it up a little and used the coordinating Falling Leaves 6x6 Stamp Set and some Distress Oxide Inks in fall colors and stamped the outline inside over the ink blending for the perfect little back to school card.
